FIFIELD’S HEARING: NOT BAD
Senator Mitch Fifield, the Coalition’s spokesman for Disabilities, today had his hearing tested at Absolute Hearing in Dingley Village, Victoria, as part of Hearing Awareness Week.
Despite sitting through many hours of Senate debate, Senator Fifield’s hearing was given a clean bill of health at the clinic.
Hearing Awareness Week runs from 23-29 August, and seeks to promote preventative measures to protect hearing and increase awareness about the new technologies to assist with hearing loss and deafness.
Senator Fifield was advised to consider ear plugs when in noisy environments, and was informed of new hearing aids with Bluetooth connectivity which can link with modern mobile phones and other communication tools.
