NDIS BOARD AND NDIS ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Coalition welcomes the appointment of Mr Bruce Bonyhady AM as the inaugural Chair of the NDIS Board.
Mr Bonyhady has been one of the intellectual driving forces of the NDIS and has a long term and personal commitment to Australians with disability having served as Chair of Yooralla and Deputy Chair of the COAG NDIS Advisory Group. He is President of Philanthropy Australia and has strong experience in financial and corporate management.
It is fair to say that without the efforts of Mr Bonyhady the NDIS would not have achieved its place on the national agenda.
The Coalition also congratulates Dr Rhonda Galbally AO on her appointments as a Board Member and Principal Member of the Independent Advisory Council.
Dr Galbally is a strong advocate for Australians with disability and has played a significant role as Deputy Chair of the NDIS Advisory Group and Chair of the National People with Disability and Carer Council.
The Coalition looks forward to the contribution of all Board and Council appointees.
