The Australian Government has reappointed Tony Emery, as well as appointing Jennifer Bott AO, James Ostroburski and Mark Tucker, to the Board of Bundanon Trust for three year terms.
Mr Emery has served as a Board member since 2009 and will continue to provide the Board with valuable landcare expertise and knowledge of the local region. He has a strong interest in regional affairs and is an active member of the local Shoalhaven community. Mr Emery is a Managing Director of Soilco, an executive member of the Shoalhaven Business Community and a Director of the Australian Organic and Recycling Association.
Ms Bott’s considerable experience in the cultural sector and generating philanthropy and private sector support will be beneficial to the Board. She is Chair of the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), a Trustee of The Australian Museum and works with the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House. Ms Bott was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2012 for distinguished service to the arts through executive and leadership roles in national cultural organisations, and to the development of policy reform initiatives promoting funding and best practice.
Mr Ostroburski will bring valuable financial management expertise to the Board. As a Director of Grimsey Wealth, he has held roles with Investec Bank (Australia) Limited and Credit Union Australia. He is Chairman of Dancehouse Incorporated, a Governor of the Arts Centre Melbourne Foundation and a member of the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s Development Council.
Mr Tucker is a former Deputy Secretary at the Department of Agriculture and is currently Chair of Bundanon’s Landcare project ‘Living Landscapes’. Previously he was a Commonwealth representative on the Bundanon Board and has a wealth of experience in both government and natural resource management.
